At Serenity Wig Salon, we’re here to support clients of all ages, including children. We understand that kids can experience hair loss for many different reasons, and we’re dedicated to making the journey a little easier for families. Our caring team is experienced in creating comfortable, natural-looking hair pieces customized just for children — helping them feel confident and at ease in their everyday lives.
At Serenity Wig Salon, we’ve spent over 10 years helping families navigate the emotional and practical challenges that come with medical hair loss. We know that when children come to us, it’s often during a difficult time — and we’re here to meet them with compassion, creativity, and the highest-quality wigs designed to help them feel like themselves again.

How It Works

Private Consultation
With the support of one of our experienced team members, you’ll work together to choose a wig that fits your child’s needs — from the length and texture of the hair to the color, style, and overall fit. We take the time to listen and make sure every detail is just right, creating a look that feels natural, comfortable, and truly suited to your child.

Customizations
Once your child’s wig is selected, our team gets to work customizing the fit and color based on everything we discussed during the consultation. This process usually takes about three weeks to complete. During that time, we’re always here for you — if you have any questions or concerns, just give us a call. We want you to feel supported every step of the way.

Wig Cut
Once all the customizations are complete, you and your child will come back to the salon for a special fitting. We’ll put the wig on, trim and style it to match the look your child wants, and make sure everything feels just right. During this appointment, you’ll also receive a care kit, and one of our team members will walk you through how to care for the wig and teach your child how to put it on with ease so you can leave feeling confident, comfortable, and ready for the days ahead.
Investment and Insurance
A wig is a long term investment ...
Our wigs are thoughtfully designed to last between five and seven years, making them a true investment in your child’s comfort and confidence. As your child grows, we can make adjustments to the wig to ensure it continues to fit just right. We’re here to help you choose the perfect piece — and to support you in caring for it, so it stays beautiful and comfortable for years to come.
Insurance Reimbursement
While we are not yet registered providers with insurance companies, there are still options to help with the cost of your child’s wig. If you’re able to get a prescription for a cranial prosthesis from your doctor, we can provide you with a medical receipt that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. We're happy to guide you through the process and answer any questions along the way.
